Reflection – Fr. Michael Casagram – Blindness – 12/5/25
The gospel for Dec. 5th is Matt 9:27-31
I think this especially appropriate for Advent
when Jesus is asking us all: “Do you believe that
I can do this,” free us from any blindness in our own
lives.
There is our exterior vision but also our interior vision
that needs to be freed of whatever form of blindness
we may have. Owning whatever form of blindness we
have is a way of allowing Jesus to be present to
us in new ways, or realizing just how close he is to each
of our lives if we will plead with him for healing.
